You Go Girl: Markham Bootcamps business kicks it

Go Girl Bootcamps is a small business that has been operating in Markham for the last 10 years.

It has grown to a membership of more than 350 women, all mainly from the Markham area.

Owners and trainers Yeeshin Loh, Pamela Seto and Lina Della Serra gave Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti a little taste of the Go Girl Transformation during their open house event Sept. 7, in appreciation of their members and their ongoing support.

“We are very proud of our members, who are a diverse community of women that workout and support each other to be better, healthier and stronger, not just for themselves but for their families and the community,” Della Serra said.

It’s for the woman who wants to be part of a community, not just a faceless member at a gym.

Many started out with a trail class and stayed, despite feeling like “they were going to die” after that first class.

Beyond the physical fitness aspect, many feel that the group has been a life-changing decision, offering way more in terms of empowerment than what they have lost in weight and inches.
