4 Longos stores and Shoppers Drug Mart with positive COVID-19 tests in Markham and Vaughan
The string of positive COVID-19 results among grocery store employees is continuing in York Region. A week after 5 Longos stores in York Region had positive COVID-19 tests, there are four Longos stores in York Region with employees who have tested positive in recent days.
An employee tested positive at the Longos located at 98 Copper Creek Drive in Markham. The last day the employee worked was Jan. 6. It isn't the only recent positive test at the location. Two employees at the store tested positive during the first week of January.
The Longos located 5283 Rutherford Road had two employees that tested positive for COVID-19. The last day the employees worked was Jan. 9 and Jan. 11. There was also a positive test reported at the location last week.
Other locations with a positive test reported Jan. 13 were Longo's the location at 9200 Weston Road in Vaughan. The last day the employee worked was Jan. 2. A Longos employee tested positive at the location on 2810 Major Mackenzie Drive. The last day the employee worked was Jan. 5.
A Shoppers Drug Mart employee from the 9306 Bathurst Street in Vaughan also tested positive for COVID-19. The last day the employee worked was Jan. 10.
